The staff members of De Petro Appraisal Services recently completed an educational seminar on the 1004MC form in Boston. This informative class probed both the problems and solutions of this new Market Conditions addendum form which is to be added to all appraisal reports completed for Fannie Mae as of April 1, 2009.

This form is not perfect to say the least. We do anticipate some controversy and uproar when brokers, lenders, and  underwriters begin to see this form out there, but at De Petro Appraisal Services we have been trained to handle this form accurately and appropriately.   

We do believe that with our recent training and our experience in our market areas will allow us to successfull take on the new 1004MC form.
